Wispscan Terms of Use

The agreement
Wispscan is made by Nerd Driven. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Free, no purchases
Wispscan is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no account. It requires a device with a LiDAR scanner running iOS 26 or later; on other devices it shows an explanatory screen by design.
For entertainment purposes
Wispscan reads real depth, camera, and audio data, but it cannot detect the paranormal. Figures are a model's best guess, cold spots are sensor uncertainty, anomalies are depth changes with ordinary causes, and EVP hits are sounds a classifier trained on everyday audio recognized. Readings, reports, and conditions are provided for entertainment and must not be relied on for safety, security, medical, legal, or any other decision.
Your content and other people
Your sessions, stills, clips, recordings, and reports are yours. They live on your device — Nerd Driven runs no servers and holds no copy. See the privacy policy for the details. You are responsible for what you capture and share: scan and record only where you are permitted to be, respect the privacy of anyone in view or within earshot, and follow the laws on recording that apply where you are.
Weather data
Place and weather conditions shown in reports are supplied by Apple Weather. Data sources and attribution. Nerd Driven does not control that data and makes no promises about its accuracy.
The usual conditions
Wispscan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and Nerd Driven's liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. Don't use the app for anything unlawful. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page.
