Basketful Privacy Policy

Basketful is built by Nerd Driven. We collect nothing and we track nothing. Your shopping lists live on your devices and sync through your own iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private and shared databases). Nerd Driven operates no servers, holds no copy of your data, and cannot see the contents of your lists.

Family sharing works through iCloud's built-in sharing: Apple manages invitations, access, and identity. Basketful's smart features (item categorization and recipe extraction) run entirely on your device via Apple Intelligence.

The one outside request the app makes is barcode lookup: when you scan a product, the barcode number — and nothing else — is sent to the community-run Open Food Facts database (openfoodfacts.org) to fetch the product's name. Results are remembered on your device.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across apps.
